Samba

Descended from champion bloodlines at Royal Windsor Kennel in Brazil,  Samba was one of our favorite sires here at Southern Paws. He was a big boy at 18 pounds! We loved him dearly and his babies were some of our favorites! Samba was adopted into a loving family several years ago. Today his legacy continues through his daughter Lola and grandson Sam.

Samba recently crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

Claude

Descended from famous Westminster winner, J.R., Claude was another one of our favorite boys. He sired beautiful litters at Southern Paws both in his time with Donna and with me. Claude was retired in 2017 and adopted by a family in Louisiana. His fantastic pedigree remains at Southern Paws through his daughter Maggie.

Ben

Ben came to Southern Paws as a puppy from a retired breeder in Mamou, LA. He sired puppies at Southern Paws for a few years before being adopted into a loving family. His legacy continues at Southern Paws through son, Sam.

Isabella

Isabella was the first Bichon at Southern Paws. We adopted her as a puppy in 2006 and our lives were never the same. She was the matriarch of our family and we were deeply grieved at her passing in May of 2020. Her legacy continues at Southern Paws through her daughter, Maggie.

Lilah

Lilah was another one of Donna’s original Southern Paws girls. She is Rae Rae’s sister. Lilah was retired in 2017 and was adopted by a sweet family in Louisiana. Lilah’s lineage continues at Southern Paws through her daughter, Lola.

Rae Rae

Rae Rae was one of Donna’s original Southern Paws girls. Rae Rae was a 12 pound bichon with one of the best coats and  sweetest personalities. She was retired in 2018. Her lineage continues here at Southern Paws through her daughter, Brenna.
