I recently decided to semi-retire from breeding. Therefore, we only have 2 breeding females at Southern Paws. Here you will find a photo and description of each Mama and a few pictures of their past puppies!
Louise
Louise came to Southern Paws as an adult from a retired breeder out of Mamou, LA. Louise is about 12 pounds. Her big eyes make her easy to pick out in a crowd. While Louise is in labor she must have a human hand in her whelping box for comfort so of course we oblige!
Louise is now retired!
Emma Lou
Emma Lou came to Southern Paws as a puppy from Mamou, LA. Her father is Olin. She is one of our bigger girls at 14 pounds.

Lou Lou
Lou Lou was sired by Southern Paws’ Olin. She lived with my daughter, son-in-law, and sister Ellie. Lou Lou thought she was human and could communicate exactly what she wanted and when she wanted it. She was spunky and sweet and a very good mom.
Lou Lou was a very special girl and unexpectantly crossed over the rainbow bridge. We miss her dearly!
Maggie
Maggie was also born at Southern Paws. She is the daughter of retired Isabella and retired Claude. Maggie is sweet and gentle like her mother and big like her father. She is 14 pounds and has a beautiful, thick coat of hair. She carries the bloodline of Westminster winner, J.R.
Maggie is also retired and will live out her life here at Southern Paws!
Sissy
Sissy came to Southern Paws as an adult from a retired breeder out of Mamou, LA. Sissy is one of the smallest Bichons at Southern Paws weighing 10 pounds. She has a quiet personality.
Sissy is also retired.
Autumn
Autumn was adopted as a puppy and is one of two female poodles here at Southern Paws. She weighs about 9 pounds and has the cutest bichonpoo babies!
